Cindy Fudala is currently the principal flutist of the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra, Northwest Indiana Symphony, the New Chicago Chamber Orchestra, and the Whiting Park Festival Orchestra. She is also the Instructor of Flute at Valparaiso University, Concordia University Chicago, and Lyons Township High School in La Grange, IL. She enjoys performing as the flutist in both the Kaia Wind Quintet and the New Chicago Chamber Orchestra Quintet, which did a concert tour of northern Italy in March 2013, and were guest artists at the International DiffWinds Festival in July 2016 in Luxembourg. She has played in live performances from the Chicago Cultural Center which have been aired on WFMT radio. She has performed with many distinguished American orchestras, including the Chicago Symphony, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the Sarasota Opera, and has been a featured soloist with university and professional orchestras in Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. Cindy is a regular soloist on the Bach Cantata series at Grace Lutheran Church, River Forest, IL.
 

Cory Tiffin is the principal clarinetist of the Las Vegas Philharmonic and has also performed this role with numerous orchestras throughout the country, including the Green Bay Symphony, the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, the Chicago Chamber Orchestra, and the New Hampshire Music Festival. As a chamber artist and soloist, Tiffin has performed in recital for the Grammy Award-winning Chicago Chamber Musicians; the Grammy-nominated Lincoln Trio; collaborated with Chicago’s leading new music ensemble, Fulcrum Point New Music Project; and worked with the University of Chicago New Music Ensemble in addition to being featured on chamber music series and radio broadcasts across Chicagoland and throughout the U.S. Tiffin also founded and ran the eclectic Chicago-based Anaphora Ensemble for several years; was a founding member of the NYC-based baroque and contemporary chamber opera company, Operamission; played in the debut performances of On Site Opera, the NYC pop-up opera company; and was featured on concerts and radio programs throughout the United States and Europe. Time Out New York called Tiffin a “clarinet maverick” and Lawrence Johnson of Chicago Classical Review wrote: “…Tiffin’s understated virtuosity was the fulcrum of the performance — as it was all afternoon…” Tiffin is the Instructor of Clarinet at Loyola University. He has also served on the faculties of DePaul University, University of Nevada-Las Vegas, The Chicago High School for the Arts, as an affiliate instructor at the University of Chicago, and other institutions. He maintains a small private studio in Chicago and appears as a guest clinician and lecturer at universities and schools nationwide.
 

Kate Carter is an award-winning violinist from California who adores her adopted hometown of Chicago. An avid chamber musician, she collaborates frequently in recital with pianist Louise Chan, with whom she has appeared at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Hall and live on WFMT, and with whom she recently recorded her first duo album, to be released this spring.

Kate also performs with various ensembles in Chicago, including Music of the Baroque, Chicago Philharmonic, and as the Associate Concertmaster of the Elmhurst Symphony, with whom she frequently appears as soloist. International appearances include a tour of the cities of Paris, Prague, and Milan with Camerata Chicago, and with the Lucerne Festival Academy in Switzerland. Kate completed a doctorate at Northwestern University, and is on the artist teaching faculties of the Northwestern Music Academy and Lake Forest College. More...
 

Violist Vannia Phillips has been a member of the Chicago Sinfonietta since 1998. For twelve years, she was the violist of Lyra Quartet, the Quartet-in-Residence at Carthage College. The quartet performed with Stafford James at the Chicago Jazz Festival in 2013. Vannia has performed often with the Chicago Opera Theater and was the violist in the string quartet for the Chicago production of The Color Purple. She has worked with Ars Viva, Lake Forest Symphony, Fulcrum Point, New Black Repertory Ensemble, Joffrey Ballet, Chicago Jazz Orchestra, Chicago Philharmonic, and Elgin Symphony. A lover of period instrument music, Vannia has played baroque viola with Baroque Band, Chicago Opera Theater, and Urban Baroque.

Vannia also enjoys contemporary, popular music. She has recorded and performed with local rock group Sleeping at Last, and can be heard on recordings with Mono, James McCartney, Kim Deal, and Lesser Birds of Paradise. She has performed with artists Stevie Wonder, Vince Gill, Ben Vereen, Al Jarreau, Smokey Robinson, Brian Wilson, Barry Manilow, Belle and Sebastien, and Bernadette Peters. She appeared with the rapper Common on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and with Josh Groban on Oprah. Vannia is currently on faculty at the Music Institute of Chicago.
 

Cellist Elizabeth Anderson is a member of the Chicago Philharmonic, Lake Forest Symphony, City Lights Orchestra, Chicago Jazz Philharmonic, and the Ars Viva Symphony. She has performed with Chicago Opera Theater, Music Theater Works, Chicago Sinfonietta, Ravinia Festival Orchestra, American Ballet Theater and the Joffrey Ballet. As a theater musician, she has played for shows at the Goodman, Court, Northlight, and Chicago Shakespeare theaters, and for several productions with Broadway in Chicago. Elizabeth is on the faculties of the Music Institute of Chicago, North Park University, and Francis W. Parker school.
